Under-Insured Motorist: This pays for collision expenses when an insured person is injured in an accident caused by another person who does not have the right amount of insurance to cover the full cost of the damages. Other types of coverage, like car rental, are also available. What you pay for car insurance varies by company and will depend on multiple factors, such as: * Which policies you choose * The type of the vehicle you own * Whether or not you have been in an accident * Your age, gender and marital status * Where you live Many people think of car insurance as a necessary evil, but it can rescue your finances.
